I was so excited by our day yesterday with you at the V&A. Thank you so much for your energy and inspirational guidance… I didn’t have time to study your literature yesterday, but will have a lovely time looking over my notes and completing my project. I really hope that I will be able to take another course from you sometime.
I was so inspired I have surfed the net for quilting motifs, bought a roll of paper, yard stick and calico, drawn up a pattern, marked out the op, basted and then thread basted (3″ grid) my quilt using polyester wadding and am now happily quilting away… am trying to concentrate on keeping my stitches even. It has been a real departure for me from my comfort zone of machine piecing patchwork…
